Dr. Fisher,
About
a year ago I mentioned to my former dentist that I thought my
face was caving in. All of my teeth had been ground to the
halfway point due to stress and a very poor bite structure. I
smiled with my mouth closed and hated having my picture taken.
After a lot of discussion and at age 58 I had braces glued in
place on my lower teeth.
After
a long search I met Dr. Fisher. He had an extremely positive
approach and plan and within two months I was sporting a beautiful
new smile. I even like having my picture taken for probably
the first time in my life. I am writing to you at the halfway
point of my treatment. If all goes well, in 6 months my
lower braces will be removed and Dr. Fisher will complete the
rest of my smile. I can’t begin to explain the difference
my new look has made to my self esteem.
The
realities of a change such as this aren’t just super great smiles.
-There
is the emotional struggle. At each step the emotions were
different and demanding. Dr. Fisher and his entire team
were sensitive and supportive at all times.
-There
is the physical struggle. Nothing as professionally created
and beautiful as my new teeth happens without some pain and discomfort.
However, Dr. Fisher and his team are knowledgeable and have
minimized the majority of my discomfort. Weighing
the discomfort against the outcome and the years of smiles ahead,
the discomfort was very short term and in my judgment worth every
minute.
-There
is the financial reality. That reality is that these sorts
of things are expensive and will require a dedication to the project.
Consider this a long term health investment. Dr. Fisher
and his team are armed with resource options should financing
be an issue.
I
have had several comments from family members and friends that
are incredibly gratifying. However, I have also had several
people that I don’t know say to me “Your teeth are so beautiful”.
Those are the comments that bring a tear to my eye.
My
best to you,

Nancy J. Hancock |
